A Wikipedia Book By A 22 Year Old
Okay, this is interesting, According to Telegraph, the in-famous Wikipedia has been turned into a book which is 5000 pages long and 1ft, 7 inches thick. Made by Rob Matthews, the book contains 437 featured articles from the popular internet resource and comes up to his knee when stood on the floor.

Rob, a 22 year old graphic design student from Brighton, Sussex, made this book in only 2 weeks. I’m sure it’s not a version where you’ll find each and everything Wikipedia has to offer, though, he filled up his book with the featured articles, something which Wiki claims to be best at. Here’s what he had to say,
He said: “I’m comparing the internet Wikipedia to a traditional encyclopedia by putting it in the same format.
“I wanted to make a comment on how everyone goes to the internet these days for information, yet it is very unreliable compared to what it has replaced.”
“These articles are deemed the best articles in Wikipedia, and are determined so based on their quality of referencing, accuracy, neutrality, completeness and style.”
Well, it isn’t for sale right now but they are hoping to put it on the market later because of a good reaction.
Gmail Down - Here’s what to do.
I turned on my laptop a while back and likewise tried to log in my gmail account to see if I have any new emails. But it wasn’t letting me log in which kind of took me in “WTF” mode. I logged in twitter & instantly went to #gmail to see if others were having any problems and they were. Anyway, something struck in my mind and I tried to log in through the classic version and it worked perfectly.
So if anyone’s having trouble logging into their gmail account, visit the following url & enter your credentials for access.
http://mail.google.com/mail/x/
I hope this works for you for the time being since I’m sure it’ll come back sooner or later.

Best Temporary Email Services
Ever heard of a disposable or Temporary email services? Here’s a nifty defination from Wikipedia:
“Disposable Email Addressing (DEA) refers to an alternative way of sharing and managing e-mail addressing. DEA aims to set up a new, unique e-mail address for every contact or entity, making a point-to-point connection between the sender and the recipient. Subsequently, if anyone compromises the address or utilises it in connection with any e-mail abuse, the address-owner can easily cancel (or “dispose” of) it without affecting any other contact. Following the cancellation or replacement of a disposable e-mail address, the (ex-)owner need notify no more than one person/contact of the change.”
In other words, these disposable and temporary email services can become and are popular to fight spam (In a different manner), since they expire after a certain period of time. So you can prevent any sort of spam emails and after you’re done, let them expire + there isn’t any registration etc required (Usually).

Mailinator is one of the most popular Temporary / Disposable email service out there. It’s interface is very simple, temporary accounts are created when email arrives for them. Let me tell you how it works. For example, you want someone to send you an email which you don’t want in your inbox, goto Mailinator & on the left side you’ll see some pre-given domain names like mailinator2.com, sogetthis.com, mailin8r.com, mailinator.net, spamherelots.com etc. Ask the sender to send you an email at lets say ANewMorning@sogetthis.com. When they do, type in ANewMorning@sogetthis.com in “Check your inbox” box and click Go. You’ll see the received email there.

1- Hit The Road (Play here)

Hit The Road, concentrate on the name! you have to hit the road, NOT the pedestrians in cars! - The aim of the game is simple, help the pedestrians move across the road. Yes, it gives an small impression of frogger but it offers a bit more. You can choose from 3 levels, easy, medium and hard. In the given time frame, you need to get the people across the road, you can slow down the cars but it will only work if you’re good at your micro. Looks interesting? It is.
