wattOS - A lightweight Ubuntu-based operating system
wattOS, a new lightweight Ubuntu-based operating system has been released. wattOS is a very fast Ubuntu clone, powered by the Openbox window manager, a standards compliant, fast, lightweight and extensible window manager. It runs on low power computers and recycled systems keeping you working and playing with all the features you expect.
wattOS menu utilizes FBPanel to give gnome like menus with a very small memory footprint. Excellent and fast file manager (PCMANFM) - almost instant opening speed, easy configuration of Openbox and themes, Easy windows network shares browsing, Custom right mouse button menus that include easy changing of your wallpaper and much more.
