1- BitTorrent:

BitTorrent is one of the best P2P file distribution client application for Linux. It givesyou access to deliver files to your PC faster than anything else. The Latest bittorrent version 6.0.3 offers the following features:

5- Deluge:

Deluge is a BitTorrent client, created using Python and GTK+ (through PyGTK). Deluge is intended to bring a native, full-featured client to Linux GTK desktop environments such as GNOME and XFCE. An official Windows port is also in development. The program uses the libtorrent C++ library, through the python-libtorrent bindings for Python.
6- KTorrent:

KTorrent is a BitTorrent client written in C++ for KDE using the Qt user interface toolkit. It is maintained in the KDE Extragear.
7- BitTornado:

BitTornado is a BitTorrent client. It is the successor of Shad0w’s Experimental Client, and is programmed by the same person. BitTornado is based on the original BitTorrent client, the interface is largely the same, with added features such as
- upload/download speed limitation;
- prioritised downloading when downloading batches (several files);
- detailed information about connections to other peers;
- UPnP Port Forwarding (Universal Plug and Play);
- IPv6 support (if your OS supports it/has it installed);

8- Transmission:

Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality without feature bloat. Furthermore, it is free for anyone to use or modify.
9- aMule:

aMule is a peer-to-peer file sharing application that works with the eDonkey2000 network and the Kad Network, but offers more features than the standard eDonkey client, including support for Kademlia.
10- gFTP:


gFTP is a free/open source multithreaded FTP client. It is most used on Unix-like systems, but it can be used on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It includes both a GUI (which utilizes the GTK+) and a command-line interface. gFTP is released under the terms of the GPL and has been translated into 41 languages.
gFTP Features:

11- MLDonkey:

MLDonkey is an open source, free software multi-network peer-to-peer application. It is also the name of the peer-to-peer overlay network that the MLDonkey uses.
Originally a Linux client for the eDonkey protocol, it now runs on many flavors of Unix-like, Mac OS X, Windows and MorphOS and supports numerous peer-to-peer protocols.
12- Kasablanca:

Last but not the least in my list is Kasablanca. Kasablanca is an FTP/FXP/FTPS client program using the Trolltech QT toolkit and integrating with the K Desktop Environment (KDE). Features include,
- ftps encryption via AUTH TLS
- fxp (direct server to server transfer), supporting alternative mode.
- advanced bookmarking system.
- fast responsive multithreaded engine.

awesome list but i think Azureus is the best among all of them followed by Bittorent. FileZilla is good too but u cant find everything on it…. and its much slower then azureus and bittorrent
I’d have to say that Deluge is my favorite linux torrent client. It is much more lightweight than Vuze but with it’s extensive plugins, it can do anything you want. It’s web interface is very nice as well.

I’ll give you a advice. A person with normal IQ clicks the “red cross” if he or she doesn’t like anything.
And coming up with couple of words without a valid reason behind it means you must be standing on the “I need attention” line.
I liked the list. I didn’t know about Frostwire…gonna check that out. I personally just use transmission, but the others look interesting.
