Easily Uninstall Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger 5x

Confronted a great application called “ZapMessenger”. It solves the issue of uninstalling Windows Live Messenger, MSN Messenger, Windows Messenger 5x and their respective installer references. If you get the error “Another version of the product is already installed”, “Your computer has a newer version of MSN Messenger than the one you are trying to install”, ““Your computer has a newer version of Windows Live Messenger than the one you are trying to install”, “The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable” and similar messages. ZapMessenger comes in handy here.

There are fixes for all these problems, but they’re complicated and can be frustrating to some people. Jonathan Kay, Microsoft MVP and Associate Expert, has created a program that will completely uninstall MSN Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Windows Messenger 5.x.

You’ll be needing .Net FrameWork for it to work.
