Open and Extract .DAA Files without using PowerISO, For Free

If you are looking to Open .DAA or extract the file for free, you have come to the right place. Normally, people use PowerISO for Opening and extracting .DAA files. PowerISO isn’t free but there is a trial version with a small drawback. It doesn’t open / extract .DAA files larger than 300 to 500 MB so you need to buy the software for $30 to get the job done.

Here’s what you should do if you don’t want to buy PowerISO.

1- You need to download couple of softwares. DAA2ISO (See step #2 for download links) and IZArc or 7Zip. DAA2ISO converts .DAA files to ISO and IZArc lets you open ISO files easily.

2- For DAA2ISO to work, you need to download 2 files, daa2iso_gui.zip and DAA2ISO 0.1.7a (Search for DAA2ISO and you’ll find the download link). These both files are in .Zip format and you need to extract them in the same folder. After extracting both files, run daa_converter.exe and you’ll see the screen shown below.

3- Select your .DAA file that you want to convert to ISO through the Input file and choose where to save that ISO file through Output file box.

4- After the converstion, run IZArc or 7Zip. Extract the ISO File to a specified folder and Let ImgBurn burn the ISO file to a disc which contains everything your .DAA Original file had.
