Backup Flickr Photos

If you are looking to backup your flickr photos, there are a lot of Flickr Downloaders. I’ve covered a good list of Flickr Downloading and Uploading Tools earlier but let’s take a look at Downloadr software. Rich Menga @ PcMech wrote a good tutorial on how to backup your flickr photos using Downloadr. It downloads your Flickr Photos including private ones as well.

  • Download Downloadr
  • Login to your Flickr Account
  • Launch Downloadr
  • Click Extras > Authenticate and it will open Flickr’s website in your browser

  • You’ll see a option “Ok, I’ll allow it” which authenticates downloadr to access your flickr account.
  • Open Downloadr, click Extras > Backup now

And that’s it. It will start downloading your Flickr Photos which you can save in your hard disk and burn it on a CD or copy it in a USB to keep them safe.
