It’s Birthday Time – ANewMorning is 1 Year old today
Stumble it!It’s been an year, started this blog on January 15th 2008 – My first attempt to blogging and it’s been great. I’ve learnt a lot and worked hard on it. Inspiration came from a good friend whom I used to play Dota with, DJ Flush @ Sizlopedia. He’s been great and helped me out in figuring things out at start. My friends and family, Hammad @ iTechMax, Haris @ Sizzledcore, Umar @ TechCityInc, Mohit @ MohitAneja, Naveed @ SmashingApps, Friends over at AddictiveTips, Nirmal @ NirmalTv, Martin @ Ghacks, MOin @ TechieSouls and many others also were a true inspiration.
At first, like any other blog, I craved for good traffic. Search engine traffic was very low ofcourse but Stumbleupon and other social media websites filled that gap. I started learning how to use these social media websites and it payed off good in form of visitors. After a while, I started getting traffic from search engines which was very motivating and it made me come along this far.
After a while, I stared doing guest posts at sizlopedia, sizzledcore and some other blogs to enhance my experience and during that period I applied and was accepted @ MakeUseOf (My favorite blog), Mark & Aibek were fantastic. They guided me towards better writing and other things which I would’ve (on my own) learn in the upcoming Months! so Kudos to them.
Not to mention, the friends I make. Loads of them, mostly from India and I’m glad I did. Irony is, I want to invite these people to a cafe’ or something, go out, eat and drink, have fun but I can’t. Only couple of them are in the same city. Still, Cheers guys, it’s been a great year.
