Add Twitter in Pidgin

In my previous posts, I mentioned how to add Facebook chat in Pidgin – Now you can also Add Twitter in Pidgin with a small add-on. The great thing about this is that it auto-refreshes tweets though, if you want to refresh manually, just type /refresh in the command window.

Here’s how it works.

1- Download the Addon here

2- Install it and restart Pidgin

3- Click on Tools and then Plugins. It will detect all the new installed plugins.

4- Goto Accounts > Manage Accounts

5- Click Add and you’ll see “Twitter” there. Type in your Account name / password and you’re done.
