Your iPhone can be a good internet tool for your laptop/computers. PdaNet is a nifty application for iPhone that turns it into a WiFi router for your Windows or MAC PC. It gives you the ability to go online through iPhone’s 3G network and also gives you USB support (Windows users only). All you need to do is create an ad-hoc WiFi network on the computer and connect your iPhone to it and you can go online automatically. Keep in mind, since this software doesn’t meet iPhone’s Terms and conditions, it’s not approved by them but it works fine on a Jailbreaked iPhone. So once you have jailbreaked your iPhone, install the application via Cydia by launching it and searching for “PdaNet”. Note: A free version will be provided after 14 days trial expires. To register the full version, make sure PdaNet is connected and go to http://my.iPhone on the computer end.
