After it’s installed, restart your browser and visit this link and you’ll be taken to a page where you can set your controls, character and other game settings.

While you’re setting things up, you’ll see a the rest of quake map downloading, takes a few minutes and when you’re done, just click Play and you’re on your way. You’ll get started with a automated bot which leads you to the beginners / practice arena, just run around, pick up weapons, set your stuff up and when your ready, begin the match.
