It’s Friday Night & If you don’t have any plans, you’re most probably a computer geek who doesn’t like to go out and have fun. Well, outdoors are fun but you can still kill time playing games and much more indoors. Playing Flash based games is always fun, they are usually short enough to fit into your working day – Presenting a fantastic set of flash based games that will definitely help you kill some boring time.
1- Hit The Road (Play here)
Hit The Road, concentrate on the name! you have to hit the road, NOT the pedestrians in cars! – The aim of the game is simple, help the pedestrians move across the road. Yes, it gives an small impression of frogger but it offers a bit more. You can choose from 3 levels, easy, medium and hard. In the given time frame, you need to get the people across the road, you can slow down the cars but it will only work if you’re good at your micro. Looks interesting? It is.
2- WonderBoy (Play here)
WonderBoy, no, it’s not the retro version but something new. Not that hard but can be a good time pass. You mission is to collect all the keys on the map, move around with arrow keys and jump with space bar. When you’ve collected all the keys, proceed to the door to enter next level. Watch out for those bull dogs, they eat your health away even if you touch them. It gets a bit interesting on higher levels though because of the time factor. Check it out.
3- Bloody Penguin Swing (Play Here)
This is one funky flashed based game. Objective, very simple. You’re a Yeti in a land full of mines. You’ll see a small penguin above, when you’re ready, click your mouse button and it will fall. Now your job is to hit the Penguin with proper timing and angle that it lands above those rocks, into the mines. Whenever it hit the mines, it goes further (FYI: You don’t have to do anything after you’ve hit it) and more distance it covers, more points you get. Try playing this with your friends, turn by turn and see who can swing the hardest.
4- Pizza City (Play Here)
Pizza City is one great addictive time buster. It’s like a small flash based GTA city, no there isn’t any violence (unless you hit a car or a pedestrian) where you have to collect pizza orders and deliver them in time. On given tips, you can fill up you car’s gas etc. I started playing and took me atleast 15 or 20 minutes to get off and write a small review on it.
5- Cartoon Hero (Play Here)
Cartoon Hero is a nifty flash based game and if you like a bit of action, you may like this one. You start off similar to any action fighting game, face some guys (like in final fight or captain commando but not that detailed) and then the boss. Good thing about cartoon hero are the combos, even if there aren’t any you still can nail some.
6- The X-Spot (Play Here)
Okay, this definitely has to be one of the most addictive games I ever played (flash based of-course). All you have to do is find the “X” mark. It can appear in any form, cutting trees, doing extreme motor-cycling, jumping off parachutes, doing small puzzles and much more. You Got to play this one, recommended.
7- Shopping Street (Play Here)
I’ve changed my mind again, argh~ can’t decide, Shopping Street is my type of game. Addictive and Time Killing. I’m pressing ALT+TAB and playing it again and again (New Levels) instead of writing a good review. The goal is simple but interesting, Â you are given a certain amound of cash in the start which you have to use to start your own retail business; earn money by operating your shops. Upgrade the shops and increase your cash flow. Keep in mind the customers are going to run away if the shops are occupied, that’s when benches, newspaper stands, music ads & bus stops come in handy. Place them in such a manner and position that instead of moving away, they stay at those stalls for other customers to walk out so they can go in and purchase your stuff.
Move on to new levels which are determined by days in which you have to complete a certain target. Bookmark this!
8-Â Plumet (Play Here)
Plumet, at start, doesn’t look much of a challenge, you probably won’t know what to do if you’ve not read the instructions. Well, no one reads the instructions, I don’t. In this game, you have to jump down the ledges through small openings. There isn’t any eternal drop scene and if you are waiting for the new area to appear to jump on, forget it. Just go down! Why? because it’s the objective of the game, you have to be fast & it ends when you’re stuck on top and the screen crushes you. Give it a go.
I hope you like these – Tell me which one did you like the best – Awaiting your comments
