Social Networking Website For Students
Even the most infrequent web user will know that the buzz word of today’s Online world is `Social Networking’. Like most trends you have the few extremely popular ones (ie Facebook, Twitter, Myspace etc) and then Many run-of-the-mill useless ones.
Then you have the dedicated group! A group of people who’s aim is to use the current trend to benefit others with a specific goal in mind. Dweeber is one such social networking site with that kind of goal. Social Networking sites have been blamed for being a waste of time for kids  (since their focus is more on posting and tweeting than on studying)

Dweeber is trying to turn around the negative impact of social networking websites by having kids complete their homework with help from their friends, online!
The site combines a ton of technologies not seen commonly in social networking  sites. You can have Virtual study sessions (with a very slick IM interface)   Share Whiteboards (for math,  science, diagrams etc) and there’s even a revolutionary profiling system that asks the user questions and then recommends which learning method works best for them! It even going as far as predicting what’s the user best position in the study group (eg. `You seem to be skilled at note taking’.)
Also as you help your friends and share successes you earn `guru points’ which can later be exchanged for products (video games, stationary, books etc)

All of these are effectively combined in an easy to use interface – which ultimately strives to reach that one elusive goal, to make homework fun!
