Everyone’s spending their time on youtubing which also includes the younger generation, our kids. Yes, you can find different funny animations, cartoons, poems etc on youtube but it also contains un-suitable stuff which they can confront by accident. So, if you want them to use the internet, check out videos and all, don’t let them do it at youtube, there are several alternatives. Websites which are suitable for under age kids and contains safe videos. Also, before I list them out, you should check out one of our previous post “Essential Websites for Educating Kids Through the Internet“.
1- KidMango

KidMango is a spectacular website for children. It offers episodes of cartoons, animations, ages ranging from pre-school, 5 to 7 years and 8+ years. The interface is really colorful and gives you the ability to watch full episodes without any interruption since it plays the next one automatically.
2- Kideos

Kideos is the premier destination for kids to safely watch videos online. Each video on Kideos has been screened their Video Advisory Council before it makes it onto their site. You can defintely feel comfortable allowing your child to spend time on Kideos, while also making sure children have a thoroughly entertaining experience. With a nifty category line up including, poems, educational videos, disney movies, nursery rhymes and much more, it’s a must bookmark.
3- TotLoL

TotLol is another good alternative to youtube, for kids of course. Attractive thing about this website is that it’s powered by YouTube itself. The videos were submitted, screened and rated by parents. The selection is huge and if you like, you can participate too.
4- ZuiTube

ZuiTube claims to have the largest video collection for kids anywhere. All the uploaded videos are approved by parents and teachers. The channels are created by kids and editors on site. Gives you an option of TV mode that plays all videos (non-stop) if you want your kid to just sit back, watch and enjoy. And the best thing about Zuitube is that it’s updated on daily basis so you can confront new material whenever you go.
So there you go, now you can be assured that your kids won’t step into something (on the internet) which you don’t want them to while watching their favorite vidoes or cartoons. Do comment if you like this and subscribe to our feed for regular updates. Till then, have fun.
