Accidentally deleting a folder or an entire partition can be even more disastrous if the lost files held sentimental values. The digital photographs we store on our PCs carry memories of different occasions. Since they usually are the strongest mementos of the event, losing them can mean losing precious memories.

Either due to carelessness or system failure, if you end up with pictures lost, you need not worry because Anyfound Photo Recovery is a freeware built for just that situation.

Anyfound recovers your lost photographs/images and restores them as they were. It works with the most popular image formats some of which are BMP, JPEG/JPG, GIFF, PNG, PSD, TIFF, WMF, EMF,and ICO.

The first step to get started with Anyfound is to download the small ~3 MB setup file which installs in no time at all. Have a look at the program up and running:

Anyfound offers three ways to recover your images:

  • Recovering files individually
  • Choosing an entire partition to recover images from
  • Continue an earlier recovery-session

Either way, the essential procedure is to select which partition the images were on and the click on ‘Recover:’

Once a search has been done, you will be shown folders within that particular partition from which images can be recovered, like this:

Anyfound

By highlighting the folder on the left, on the right you can preview the recoverable images it contains. This way if you do not remember the name of the file, you can preview it to see whether or not it is the right image you want recovered.

Checking the files you want to save, you can then click on ‘Save’ to choose the saving location:

And that’s all there is to it.

Other mentionable features of Anyfound include its speedy operation, its lack of spyware/adware, and of course its lack of a price tag.

Anyfound Photo Recovery brings you back your memories even if by some accident, they temporarily get lost.
