Using Facebook Lite By Default
Facebook Lite is definitely a better choice for people who either have a slow internet connection or don’t like too much messy things on their account. All those notifications, facebook applications etc doesn’t show and is much more reliable for doing “to the point” things.
Though, it’s not active by default. Not to worry, a simple tweak can make your facebook use the lite version by default. Here’s how you do it.
- Login Facebook Lite. Click Settings (Wrench tool beside search bar)
- From the Settings page, go to Default Site.
- Choose Facebook Lite from the two options and click Save.
And that’s it. Whenever you visit facebook, the lite version will be activated automatically.
