How to Create Thumbnails Of Pictures in a Folder
Say while running your PC, you’ve got a folder opened up with many subfolders in it. All these subfolders contain image files (JPG, PNG, etc.) in them. There’s an image you’re looking for but don’t know which folder contains it.
In such a situation, Thumbnails can be particularly helpful. The Thumbnail view of the folder you’re working with can reveal the images within. But the Thumbnail view could be of any image inside that folder.
Today we explore a freeware that lets you create thumbnails for your folders: Sirius Thumbnail Generator.
The Thumbnail Generator is nearly 1.5 MB to download and you’ll have it up and running instantly. Here’s how the program looks like:

First, you enter the dimensions of the thumbnail and the color of the border. You can load up a background for your thumbnail by clicking the Load button. Next you can add text to your thumbnail and even change its font style and size.
It’s that simple. Once you’re done, simply save it in either JPEG format of BMP.
Sirius Thumbnail Generator even lets users batch create thumbnails. Just click on the ‘Batch Process’ button to be shown this:

You can choose a folder with images in, the destination folder, and select whether you want the files to keep on processing undisturbed or you want to name the thumbnails custom names.
Just store your thumbnail in the folder you want and it’ll show up in the thumbnails view.
Thumbnails can be a fast way to recognize your folders which can save precious time. Sirius Thumbnail Generator has made making thumbnails quite easy; give it a try.
