How to Follow a Specific Keyword on Twitter Lists
Twitter is one of the most popular social networking websites of today. We all use it to express ourselves, tell people what’s going on in our lives, and even market our products. That’s the Tweeting portion. What others do is read what we’re Tweeting about. If they find any Tweeter’s Tweets to be consistently likable, they choose to ‘follow’ it. This way they can easily get hold of all their favorite Tweets.
However what if you like somebody’s Tweets only about a certain topic? Say, you really find amusing John Doe’s opinions on coffee but every other Tweet of his is simply ordinary. Without reading all that he has Tweeted about, how do you know when John has put up something about coffee?
One free web service is the answer: Listiti.

Listiti is a highly facilitating Twitter tool that enables you to know when a certain Tweeter has Tweeted about a certain something.
The website interface couldn’t have been any simple. Taking our John Doe example, for instance, simply type John’s list’s name in the ‘Twitter list to monitor’ field, enter ‘coffee’ in the ‘Keywords to watch’ field, and complete the process by entering your email address.
Clicking the ‘Create the alert’ button will mean that from then on you’ll be emailed each time John Tweets about coffee!
Still relatively in its early stage, Listiti won’t send you an email right after John has Tweeted about coffee. At the moment, Listiti check your favorite’d lists for the specified keywords at one hour intervals; that’s when you get emailed, if need be.
Still, for a free web service, Listiti is a great way to get the best material from your favorite lists and is something all Tweeters should use.
