If you have multiple versions of a text document and you want to see exactly what’s different about the text in each version, you might have to play around in your Word processing software a little before you can get the changes to be displayed.

But with CompareMyDocs, you can simply upload your files and have the changes present themselves to you.

To give it a go, I made up three DOCX documents. One had the text “This is home.” The second included the text “Where is home?” And the third had “Have you seen those homes?” in it.

I loaded up the documents on CompareMyDocs and clicked on ‘Compare;’ after loading them up and analyzing the difference for about a second, here’s what I was shown:

The color the text on the right is in corresponds to the file color listed on the left. You can hover the mouse over the text to make visible various options which include whether you want to accept the change, delete it, or move it to your scrapbook:

The top of the page includes some basic text modification options such as Bold, Italics, and Underlining.

A quick way to compare different versions of the same document (DOC, DOCX, and RTF files) CompareMyDocs can be a web tool that saves you the trouble of playing around with your Word processing software.
