Font Picker: View And Select Fonts Online
Just confronted an awesome online service that lets you view and select fonts online. If you’re working on a project like creating a logo, just visit the website. It will automatically detect all the fonts installed on your computer and give you the option of replacing the text. Â You can review the result live (almost on the very second) and select or remove the fonts.
You can easily scroll down or up to view all the results. Basic features are:
- Select the text in one of the boxes and type the text you will be using for your project. For example the name of your web site.
- Get rid of the fonts that don’t like by pressing the x next to them so you are left with a smaller list of fonts to choose from.
- Press the tick next to a font to mark a font as a favourite (press tick again to deselect).
- Press ‘Clear’ to remove all unselected fonts.
- Press ‘Reset’ if you want to start again.
If it’s not working on your side, it means you don’t have Adobe Air Installed (Adobe AIR is a way of running web applications on Windows and Macs.) Not to worry, you can download Adobe Air here. Also, if you want to do this offline, you can download their desktop app which is totally free of cost.
