Make Collaborated Diagrams In Online Real Time
Online collaborations are now becoming increasingly popular. You might have already heard about working on the same Word document together with your peers online; but what if you want something more than just a Word document? What if you want to design a simple poster with your remote friends? What do you do if you want to add a chart to your presentation and need the input of your group members?
Those “what if’s” are competently answered by the amazing online tool we’re going to explore today: Cacoo. This tool is the ultimate application which lets you create various types of diagrams using online real-time collaboration. The first thing to do to get started is sign up for a free account.
Once you log in with your username, you can view the chart and diagram creation panel:

To start adding collaborators, click on the ‘Share’ button at the top right side of the panel. You can add collaborators by adding your friends’ Cacoo ID or entering their emails and inviting them to Cacoo:

Once you have added other people to the diagram, they can see the changes you make and modify the diagram themselves as well.
Returning to the drawing panel, you can easily locate the required tools at the first glance. Starting from the topmost tab, you can find buttons which provide great functionality. The functions included on this bar include undoing and redoing your last action, cutting, copying, pasting, inserting new text or lines, uploading an image, capturing a screenshot, and a lot of other actions.
The Stencil menu lets you choose from a variety of Shape formats which you can insert into the drawing area to the left. The types of shapes available are categorized for easy searching.

While creating your diagram, you can converse with your collaborators via chatting through the Chat box. This way you get live feedback for what is going on with the project.

Cacoo is a powerful tool which lets its users work together in forming diagrams like site maps, wireframes, UML, and network charts. If you’re a computer user making any one of these diagrams as a group, give Cacoo a go and see how easy the collaboration becomes.
