This particular “memory available less than 15mb” problem occurs in Windows 7 – 64 bit mostly. If you’ve installed a new copy of Counter strike 1.6 in your computer and are getting suggestions to re-boot or re-install the game until it’s fixed, someone’s make a fool out of you. There’s a way better solution
- Right Click on the Counter Strike 1.6 folder
- Click Compatibility
- Under “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” – select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
- And Check “Run this program as administrator (If you are one)
That’s it. Run the game and it’ll work fine.
