Plants Vs Zombies is definitely one of the best short games out there. I ended it no time and got hooked to it’s mini-games, puzzles and survival modes. Collecting coins in plants vs zombies is very time consuming though, and sometimes you wish to play those endless survival games without putting much effort. That’s when I found out how to get unlimited coins and sun in it.
But I won’t advice on using this if you’re in the middle of the game. It’ll ruin the fun. Here’s what you need;
- Download Cheat Engine 6.1, Install it.
- Run Plants Vs Zombies
- Goto task manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL
- Click Applications and you’ll see Plants vs Zombies there
- Right Click on it, click ”Go To Process” . There, you’ll see the highlighted file that PVZ is running.
- Run Cheat Engine and click “Select A Process To open”
Now check the process name that you found earlier, it should be popcapgame1.exe – Open it
- Click on the running game and go to shop. See how much coins you have.
- Now, for example, if you have 5750 coins, type 5750 in the hex value of Cheat Engine App and click New Scan.
- Alt-tab again to Plants vs Zombies game and buy something. Let’s say you bought an item for 1000 coins, now you’re coins will be 6750.
- Type 6750 in hex and click Next Scan.
- On top left, under address and value, you’ll see a single entry. Double click it. (Notice how much coins I have already)
- It will appear under the white box which says “Active, Description etc”
- Double click it and change the value to how much coins you need and that’s it.
Now you have coins, buy all there is in the shop. Let’s move on to how to get unlimited Sun.
- Start a level. You will, by default, have 50 sun. As soon the level starts, don’t collect any sun and pause the game.
- Type 50 in the hex value and click scan. It will show you a lot of values under Address/Value on top left.
- Go back to the game, collect 1 sun and you’ll have 75. Pause the game again.
- Click cheat engine, type 75 in hex value and click next scan. It’ll show you a single file again.
- Double click on the value and type in say 5000 and click OK. Resume the game and you’ll have 5000 sun lying there.

I tried both sun and money cheat, but it does not work : example, my money was 1440, i typed in and clicked first scan. It has 5. After I bought a thing costs 1000, then my money should be 440. So, i typed in and cilcked next scan. After that, none address was there.

i type in the 50 sun thing and it works then i get the thing for 75 sun and do the scan but no files pop up

Great, except… It popped out this thing says “Hacking Detected” an it removed plant vs zombie from my computer!
There is no popcapgame1.exe for me, just PlantsVsZombies.exe, and that won’t work with these instructions. :/

actually dont type the real amount of money
these are the steps:
1.identify the amount of your money
2.divide it by ten(ex.5660,it will be 566)
type the total on the hex if you already divide it
3.if there are 5 or more files buy anything,so you gonna have lesser amount of money(ex.now you have 4390,it will be 439 if you divide it by 10)
type the new amount of your money that is divided by 10.
4.then u will only see one file,double click it and it will transfer to the bottom box.
5.double click the value and type any amount you want,dont forget the to click the small box on the bottom box(make it active)on the active column

1.open cheat engine(any version this will work)and pvz
2.on cheat engine,click memory view,
3.choose any address, right click on the chosen address click the go to address button,the type 0048728c(the capitalization of c dont matters)
4.double click the opcode of the address you typed then change the last numbers,there you will see numbers,in the end you will see 01,change it to 200 then a question appears click yes.viola!the seeds dont recharge
if the POPCAPGAME1.exe.,just REFRESH the computer,if you refreshed and NO POPCAPGAME1 APPEARS SO SAD

I cant use the sun hack on nighttime levels but I dont know how to use cheat engines anyway:P
I wish I had the tree of wisdom already >:( then I wouldnt need a cheat engine
