Dota 6.55 download - Official version released with 2 new heroes and 4 new items
Dota 6.55 has been released for download. This version contains 2 new heroes and 4 new items + There are huge changes!
Changelog:
* Added a new hero (Windrunner)
* Added a new hero (Admiral Proudmoore)
* Added a new item (Magic Stick,239688)
* Added a new item (Dust of Appearance)
* Added a new item (Phase Boots)
* Added a new item (Glyph of Fortification)
* New Loading Screen
* Redesigned and improved Sentinel and Scourge bases as well as nearby terrain
* Added a new game mode (-captainsmode/-cm)
* Rewrote creep/neutral/powerup spawn systems. The game timer now counts down to 0, at which point the creeps and powerups spawn. 30 seconds later the neutrals spawn. This behavior is the same as various popular modes, but it is now standardized to the entire game with the new clock. All game events are based off of this time rather than an arbitrary time based on the mode you used.

How to Reset your PS3 Video Settings
This is a real neat trick. If you have a Sony PS3 and you move around a lot, taking it to your friend’s place or a relative, you can normally run into a issue where you can’t connect it to a new TV or a monitor because the video settings are different than your basic configuration. Because of this, you can’t even get to the video settings screen which basically ruins the fun.
Here’s a tip that will save you from buying all kinds of different chords / wires.
1- Turn off the power to your PS3 and then turn it back on again.
2- During that, hold down the power button until you see something on the screen.
3- When you hold down the power button of the PS3 when you are turning it on, it completely resets the video settings to the most basic settings (480p I think) so that it’ll work on any TV or monitor.
4- Once you can then get something on the screen, you can configure the video settings to match the TV you are hooking up to.
That’s about it but you might have to go through the same procedure when you’re back home. But it’s worth it

-Have a close look on the Black King Bar.
-Towers protecting tree and throne has been changed
-Ezalor’s Mana Leak and Ignis Fatuus have been changed, Mana Leak is now “Mana Rupture”, which does what it says; it’s like Rupture of Bloodseeker, only MP is damaged instead of HP. Ignis now no longer spawns the healers but it has new abilities now
Blinding Light: Affects like an area similar to Shiva’s Guard, and it blinds enemies affects by 80% for 5 seconds, and knocks back as well…
Recall: Ignis channels for 4 seconds, targeting an ally hero. After 4 seconds, the hero is teleported to the Ignis… that’s right… free travel… the ignis shouldn’t be damaged while doing this or else the channeling will be interrupted… and the hero can freely move while waiting to be teleported

Dota 6.54b AI Download
Dota 6.54b was released couple of days back and it’s AI map is already here! It behaves the same as the original AI, and has only been updated to account for balance changes, new item recipes, and most new features. As such, some new content does not work fully with the AI yet.
Note: THERE IS NO AI FOR LIFESTEALER, INVOKER, OR CLOCKWERK GOBLIN. THEY WILL GET ITEMS BUT WILL NEITHER USE NOR LEARN THEIR SKILLS.
Known bugs with AI:
-Pathing on the top Sentinel lane is still the same as in 6.48b
-AI don’t properly react to -nb, -nm and -nt modes
-Some exploits that should have been fixed are still in the game…just don’t use them. If you really want to cheat against AI, just use -test
-Lanaya may crash your game if you use her, depending on how lucky you are
Some commands have yet to be implemented properly:
-ah
-afk
-kickafk
-rd (the new one in 6.53, -rd is in the game but done the same way pre-6.53)
Additionally, there are two Fun Taverns in the lower right corner. Currently includes nine legacy heroes (possibly more in the future): Old Invoker (6.12b), Old Lifestealer (6.48b), Old Silencer (6.12b), Gambler (6.06), Old Morphling (5.84b), Old Stealth Assassin (5.84b), Void Demon (3.0d), Rider (5.72), and God of Wind (6.01).
