The iPad’s coming and it promises to transform the way we, as readers, consume books, newspapers and magazines. Its 9.7in, LED-backlit IPS display will make the iPad the first ever device that’s actually pleasurable to read on. It’s never going to be as good-looking as paper (a screen has 70 to 100 dots per inch, compared with paper’s 300 to 1,000 dots), but as a media platform, it offers so much more.
Traditional print media have taken a battering in recent years at the hands of the vast array of free content available online. Sales of newspapers and magazines have been in steady decline. The iPad offers publishers new ways to reach and engage with readers. Far from ringing their death knell, it’s hoped that the iPad will revitalise a floundering industry, offering premium content to users, converting online readers into paying customers. Read on to discover how the iPad could change the print industry beyond all recognition, forever.
1. Print Media and the Internet Will Become Fully Integrated

The iPad will kick start the full integration of traditional print media and the internet, adding greatly to user experiences. Such benefits will differ widely depending on what exactly is being read, but the possibilities are endless. If you’re reading a book about the south of France, for instance, planning a future holiday, you’ll be able to access the internet to download additional images, search for hotel reviews and even book your flights without changing what you’re holding in your hands.

Here’s an awesome service called Senduit that lets you upload any file (maximum size = 100MB) and share it privately. I usually have to share files but I’m not a big fan of registering for different services. At Senduit, you don’t need to register for anything, just visit the website, click choose file and upload it.

After it’s uploaded, you’ll receive the download link which expires at your specified time. Choose from 30 minutes to a week and it will delete the file afterwards.
Visit Official Website: Senduit

I came across this great service called “Dictie” which lets you do so much relating to language. If it’s related to dictionary, references, synonyms; try Dictie. You can easily translate any word with their translator which translate full text on over 30 world languages.

While it provides detailed definitions using it’s own database, it can help you with pronunciation. Yes, just click “Make it say”, type in the word you want the pronunciation for and click “Say it now”. It will pronounce the word correctly since it’s powered by Google.
The greatest challenge while working with multiple internet browsers is importing and exporting bookmarks. Some browsers offer importing bookmarks from another installed browser during installation; later on however, the bookmarks cannot be transferred as easily. Furthermore, due to the difference of formats in which each browser stores it bookmarks, it becomes unfeasible to manually copy the bookmarks files and place them to the target browser’s window.
HTML formats however do offer some level of convenience because they are accepted almost universally by each browser as bookmark files. But even with HTML files there is a drawback: bookmarks duplicates can be made which create quite a mess of the target bookmarks folder.
The computer user, who works with more than one internet browser, can now rid himself/herself of this much too common bookmarks nuisance by using an amazing piece of freeware called Transmute.
Transmute is a small (merely 1.9MB) desktop application which when installed, gives users the ability to transfer bookmarks from browser 1 to browser 2. The format conversion is done within the program and you are only presented with the great results.
Transmute supports an amazing list of browsers which includes Avant, Chrome, Chromium, Firefox, Flock, Internet Explorer, K-Meleon, Konqueror, Opera, Safari, and SeaMonkey.
Here is how the main window for Transmute looks like:

All a user has to do is specify the browser by selecting one from a drop down menu; the bookmarks folder will automatically be detected. In case you have selected a non-default bookmarks folder during browser installation, you will have to manually specify the folder after selecting the browser.

Chrome is no doubt (In my opinion) the best browser right now, I was a big fan of firefox but I always preferred something light. Used Opera, Flock etc as well but because of the add-ons firefox had to offer, It didn’t last long. Chrome lacked that part as well but now with Chrome Extensions, my internet life is way better. Presenting a list of 20 of the best extensions Chrome has to offer (right now) and I hope you like these.
Tip: You can manage your google chrome extensions easily by clicking “Customize and Control Google Chrome” button > Extensions.
1. Download YouTube Videos
