Monitor Test Utility Download - Monitor Test 1.2

Posted by MoiN 28 August, 2008 (2) Comment

I came across a great monitor test utility that is a must have! It is developed by Nirav Patel and it shows Gradients of main colours, RGB colours, Black-White-Gray colours on any monitor at full screen resolution. This monitor test utility also offers a facility to perform speed tests and text test (can be used to see if the monitor can show sharp text).

It also includes geometry tests to check and test monitor’s display geometry and works fine with 4:3 aspect ratio monitors and also on 16:9, 16:10 wide screen monitors.

Latest Features (1.2) include:

- Added functionality to show the Monitor Display Resolution (e.g. 1024 X 768) & Monitor Aspect Ratio (e.g. 4 : 3)
- Added benchmark timer when performing the “Intensive Box Test” so the user can see the time taken for the test to finish
- Added more “Text Test” with Red, Green & Blue colours
