Google Statistics for YouTube Launched

YouTube just announced the newest addition to its video service called “YouTube Insights.” It allows content publishers, partners, and advertisers to see detailed statistical data for their videos which include geographic viewing and relative popularity.

We (youtube uploaders) can now see how often our videos are viewed in different geographic regions, as well as how popular they are relative to all videos. We can also check out stuff like how long it takes for a video to become popular, and what happens to video views as popularity peaks.

Youtube Insights is live now and You can check this new service out by going to Account > Videos, Favorites, & Playlists > and then clicking on “About this video” of the video that you want the stats for.
