I’m a big fan of starcraft 2 and am anxiously waiting for the proper game to come. Since it’s blizzard, I know it’ll take time. Good thing is they “atleast” started the beta where chosen players could try out the game, check for bugs, let them know how it can be improved etc etc. Superb news is that Internet geeks and hackers found a way to play the beta (offline) vs AI. Keeping it short, here’s how to;
1- Download Starcraft 2 Beta From Torrents or from your Battle.net Profiles. (Download link)
2- Download Lazy Launch. (Download Link). Note: Previous lazy launch executable had a trojan but this one doesnt.
3- Download the map pack . (Namely: Starcraft 2 Beta Login Bypass, Cache, and Replays)
4- Install the game and run it. It will update it to the latest patch. After that close the game and run Lazy Launch. It will take you to your explorer, choose the map you want to play and that’s it.
Remember, it will automatically choose a race for you and the AI. If you’re not comfortable with that, just restart the game (again and again for your favorite race).

Prior to purchasing music many of us sample it on popular music audio and video streaming sites. Dizzler is one of these great streaming websites. All it requires you to do is register for a free account on the site. Once that it is done, you can start listening to music (or watching videos) from Dizzler’s huge music library.
You can enjoy the site either by searching for keywords or by browsing from the artists or genres databases.
The main features of this streaming website are that it lets you see the top music searches, videos, and songs. You can even see the profiles of other Dizzler members and check out their playlists to see what they are listening to.
When combined, all those features make up a great streaming site however they do not set Dizzler apart from other similar sites. What does set Dizzler apart is its downloadable online media player. You can find the Download link on top of your Dizzler page. The Dizzler Media Player (DMP) is sized at 3.5MB and installs without any glitches. With this desktop application installed you no longer need to open your browser to stream music. Here is how the player looks like:

I love flash based games, so do many and many of other people. They help you in passing boring or hectic times during the day.

etc. In the meanwhile, I covered numerous other flash based games as well, which were truly addictive. Since they got much popularity, I’m covering more awesome flash based games today which will basically test your skills and may blow your mind off. I hope you enjoy.

So you’re a television, running away from a lady with a hammer whose about to trash you to pieces. And you need to avoid that but with too many hurdles in the way.
2- SkyFyre
SkyFyre is a action based game. Play as Rhinn, the Fyre (dragon) rider of Aradu and help repel the invasion of monsters from a different world. Includes 4 upgradable fyre dragons, 6 bosses + minibosses, over 30 monsters and a secret bonus level. Playability is great, no keyboard required (Except for the special attack), use your mouse to control.

Hit The Road, concentrate on the name! you have to hit the road, NOT the pedestrians in cars! – The aim of the game is simple, help the pedestrians move across the road. Yes, it gives an small impression of frogger but it offers a bit more. You can choose from 3 levels, easy, medium and hard. In the given time frame, you need to get the people across the road, you can slow down the cars but it will only work if you’re good at your micro. Looks interesting? It is.

Presenting, more flash based Tower Defense Games! =) – I had such a good time before when I posted a list that I thought was good (some of which, I still play when I’m bored) & it still is. But time comes when you’re a bit bored of playing the same old stuff and need something new. Well, I did confronted some cool & new flash based tower defense games & after playing, here’s what I have to share.
1- Mushroom Revolution Tower Defense Game (Play Here)
Mushroom Revolution is surprisingly a nifty tower defense game! Graphically & playability wise. There’s actually a small mini map (like in original warcraft TD games) where you can scroll and everything to place towers. Now it’s a bit strategic, you have to place the towers, called “Gomphus” here, upgrade them etc. You’ll think, well it’s normal, we do this in every TD, but it does has something cool to offer in form of Elements such as fire, water, thunder, wind and earth. You can buy these elements and insert them in your towers to give them a new ability.
Now the enemy waves have weaknesses which can be either of these elements. And then, there are accessories which you can also combine in your towers to give them extra damage & abilities. Level up your towers to get 2 and then 3 slots for elements. Try different combination (also given in the game) and level up your way to one of the most fun Tower Defence games I’ve ever played. Not to forget, you’ll find tree’s in the paths (best positions to put a tower), you can also cut them for a small piece of gold. So Try everything you can and enjoy.
2- Flash Element Tower Defense 2 (Play Here)
Flash element TD 2 is also another cool flash based tower defense game. The objective, everyone knows, how you play is what you should be considering. There are 5 type of towers that you can build & then there are upgrades (of-course). The thing you will notice is the store, where you can buy upgraded towers for tokens. You earn tokens after 10 levels which can be used for different reasons. Now @ flash element, the enemies objective is to take the elements right at the end of the maze, which they grab and run back. You need to kill them before they take it to their base.
When you kill them, the element / colored ball stays where the enemy dies which makes it a bit difficult for the upcoming levels. Now the trick is to save your tokens and at the end of a level, you can use 1 and put them where they belong. Making it more lengthier and fun.

Did you love the retro version of all those arcade games? if you did, you must’ve liked Street Fighter.. I’ve been a big fan of that game, we usually play it over at my place with friends coming over (still) and we have a great time. You can play Street fighter on your computer (older versions, champion edition etc) using Mame32 emulator etc easily (I’ll cover those soon) but Street Fighter 3 doesn’t work on that. NeoRage doesn’t support it either so lets take a look at something that does.
It’s called the “CPS3 Emulator” (Capcom Play System 3). It’s a simple emulator designed for very specific games which are
- JoJo Bizarre Adventure (3 Parts)
- Street Fighter 3 (4 Parts)
- Warzard / Red Earth

I am a cricket fan, unfortunately, I’m finding it very hard to go and play outside in the grounds because of my crazy routine. But whenever I’m free and not doing anything else, I play cricket online (Flash based). There are a lot of great flash based cricket games out there, here are a few that you will find interesting.
1- Cricket Flash Game (Play here)
There are some good and not so good points about this one. If you love to bat, give this a go. No need to field or bowl, there’s a training session (Turn random off) where you can practice before playing. Game goes for 15 overs, use your arrow keys to control your shots.
2- Top Spinner Cricket Game (Play here)
Top Spinner is one of a kind flash based cricket game. At first glance, you might not get it but when you do, you’ll love it. It’s addictive and needs mouse control (resembles a Wii) not cursor keys like other cricket games. Keep your mouse cursor on the game and move it as the balls come. You’ll also notice that if you play a high shot, it will be a catch (Yellow zone) so don’t try to hit hard. A must must recommended game for all cricket lovers.
3- Flash Cricket 2 (Play here)
Flash Cricket 2 is a goal based game. You don’t need to go for all the overs and play like you do in normal games but you have to achieve goals and open up new levels. For example, round 1 requires you to hit a 4 and when you do, next round opens and so on. Honestly, I get stuck in the middle myself, requires lot of skill.

Usually, most of the users prefer a alternative application for windows media player for playing FLV files that they cannot (Refer to Best Media Player Alternatives). But if you are looking to find a way to play .FLV files in windows media player then PlayFLV is for you.

A lot of work is being done for Windows 7. BurnAware Free has been released for Windows 7 as mentioned in the earlier post and now I’ve confronted Codecs for Windows 7. Codecs are one of the most important things for a windows users to have things (media) working properly. This windows 7 codec installer removes all the previous ones and install the most comprehensive package. Windows media player and windows 7 media center (after installing these codecs) will recognize all your files as playable and you’ll be good to go.
After installing these windows 7 codecs, you’ll easily play all the serveral format which you were not able to, including movies, video clips etc. It also includes support for video streaming and can re-add the removed items at any time.

Majority of people like to play flash animations in full screen, whether it’s a game or any other flash based content. Flash Game Maximizer is a useful firefox addon that lets you maximize and play your flash animations / content in full screen with a hit of a button (Hotkey). You can then resize the window (and the Flash content along with it) in whatever size you like.
